I have a theory that Jasper 's design was based on Hulk Hogan (it may even be a tribute to him by some WWE fan in the design team, who knows? In the same way as many Kinnikuman characters are tributes to real life wrestlers, such as Terryman)

Here in Albania we have an expression to describe Jasper's body type that translates to something like "beer keg body", and WWE fans use the very same expression when describing Hulk Hogan. Could it be a coincidence? I think it might be true. I am a WWE fan, by the way. My view could be biased, but I have once showed a picture of Jasper to a friend of mine who never watched the show and only watches WWE every now and then, and he said the same thing - "is it the female Hulk Hogan"? That was hillarious.
